We walked from kinder to the Maribyrnong River and back again. Who did we meet, and what did we learn? To produce this book, young authors and illustrators from Avondale Heights Kindergarten spent time at Canning Reserve and Maribyrnong River learning about Wurundjeri culture from Wurundjeri Elder Uncle David Wandin, and planting native plants with Council’s Conservation team. “We the Wurundjeri Council are honoured to be in partnership with Moonee Valley City Council and the children of Avondale Heights Kindergarten.
