Di'ak ka lae?

Description

This small book in Tetun, the national language of East Timor, is one of a pair created by children participating in a spontaneous workshop in Lospalos, East Timor. Whilst visiting Gillian Howell at the Many Hands NGO in East Timor (supported by Asialink), Kids' Own Publishing Executive Director saw the match between Kids' Own Publishing methodology and an enthusiastic community of local children facing an acute shortage of books in their national language. The opportunity was irresistible! [From Trove]
